I am trying to find a modern power supply for my computer. I am currently running onboard video and want to eventually do crossfire. Would this be a decent one for my computer.

Is thermaltake a pretty perfect power supply brand and would this power supply be a decent one. I know i should not skimp on a power supply but thermaltakes own pretty good reviews and also it would merely be 30 dollars with a promo code as capably, so would this be a good deal.

i own picked a PSU for my new workstation.
I know it has adequate power and things, so i dont need to know going on for that.
But it has two fan, one on back and one on bottom. I be wondering how the coolin is done with PSU's.
Does the admirer on the back inhale nouns, and the one on the bottom extract the inhaled air into the skin, or does the bottom fan inhale the reheat air from the satchel, and the back hanger-on extract it
(When i say posterior i dont mean the spinal column case disciple, i mean the enthusiast on the back of the PSU)

Power Saving Mode?
Hi, I've have a Windows XP for quite a long time, and until immediately during boot-up, the monitor turns from green to orange. Then on the monitor it say Power Saving Mode and goes completely black. I've tried lots of things, including replacing adjectives cables next to new ones, and making sure that it have a good power supply. That can't be the problem, so every time that happen, I have to hold the power button for 5 second until it turns off. I've gotten a contemporary monitor and it STILL happens. Also the monitor I use is an LG. I'm really desperate, oblige please!

Portable photo witness?
What i stipulation is exactly what my question say. I need one that have some (not a hole lot) of memory. A port to put in a USB or an available extender (such as: a cord that you can plug contained by to it that gives you a port you may plug a USB surrounded by to) I work with seriously of photos, such as personal photography some modeling shots, and even some pictures of planes. I'm not that concerned about memory on the device that much seeing as to i enjoy most all my pictures stored on memory sticks. but i would approaching it to be able to zoom within and out on the photos, see and some times there are rise and fall small details on the planes. What are the ground rules of portable hard disks? If I own connected to my computer, can I just shutdown my computer in need ejecting it? Can it be placed tolerate to speakers?

It go right into my usb port and I save on it by select the drive its in. I put it higher than my speakers sometimes and everything works fine. I shutdown my computer all the time minus ejecting it. If I put my computer on sleep the muted stays on though, I don't know why. But it works great and is a great investment.

U must first revise SMPS Voltage Wiring, that gives Current to the Hardware components, My suggestion if you trying connecting wires BE Careful even a reverse electric wiring will shot ur CPU in Flames .... There will a prime component wire, (Black color PLUG) explicitly the wire for Hard disk respectively SMPS will only enjoy one. If u are adding extra intricate Disk u need to buy a different wire. I'm assuming you don't have a SATA nouns for it on your mother board. You can go down to Best Buy and portable SATA not easy drive case for it. It'll cost around $60 bucks. Then you can plug into your USB port to use it. If your BIOS supports USB boot, you should be capable of boot from it.

Here it is, this morning i put a cd contained by to my cd rom drive in my computer and as soon as I took it out my computer restarted its self and presently it will turn on but it keeps restarting previously it gets to the desktop. I tried repairing window 2000 professional and then i reinstalled it and it keep doing it. Is there anything else I should try?

While your computer is restarting. (right previously the Windows XP screen) Tap the F8 key. This will bring up a screening menu with things resembling Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking etc...
Select Use second known perfect configuration - This should get you booted into window.
If it does not work. Try doing the same point and booting into Safe Mode, and run an AntiVirus, DiskCheck and some other goodies.
This should give you a starting point. If adjectives fails reinstall window :/
set it back to the first of the month.

The 7950GT has your needed memory but I would look at getting the 7950 GX2 and the 7900 GS doesn't hold what you need but the 7900 GTX have it. Think about going beside ATI or 3d Labs as well they both produce good cards.

I Started getting this nouns problem. it was adjectives distorted and going in slow mo and reapeating and stuf. so i data it must be that the DMA mode was moved to PIO mode... so i step to Device Manager > IDE/APA controllers > Primary IDE Channell > Double Click on that > and it said that my Device 0 was set to DMA if avalable, but it be PIO, i think that i dont hold DMA available anymore. but i like listen to music. Pic programming problem?
I can't integer this out. I am using a Pic 16F627A chip. PORTB is connected to 8 leds in series next to a 120ohm resistor. The red end of my 3 v power supply is hooked to pin 14, the black terminate to pin 5. The short end of the leds are connected to pin 5.

Disconnect the PORTB from LEDs and just examination it with multimeter when you run the code, and see if the voltage move about up and down.

Alright here is the situation, 2 days enjoy past since a thunderstorm. After the thunderstorm I notice my home-phone didnt work. (if you hear there is not tone) And it also say no line on the handset. So my phone dash is down which also affects my DSL. My DSL still works but is way much slower after it usually is. So I'm asking what happened? And how can i fix and craft my home-phone line work again.

Performance aid next to SLI?
I own an A8N-SLI motherboard and 2 7600 GS with 256MB of memory respectively, 1 gig of strike, and SLI mode is enabled. Heres what happens- I begin playing a hobby (such as GTA: San Andreas), and it works good at first. Then, as time go on, the game drastically speeds up for some defence. On another game- splinter cell: double agent- something is terribly wrong. Sam fisher is invisible and so is everything except the skybox... i don't even know. The computer works fine when not running those games that require see.

mkk. I own a Apple PowerBook G4. Last night, i contracted to put some of the applicaitions (Safari, iTunes, SYSTEM PREFERENCES, etc.) on my desktop. So i did, and i decided that i didnt resembling them. so i put them in the trash can, and next i emptyed the trash can. I thought it didnt matter, because the applications be still on the dock. but then today i found out that those applications dont work! I clicked to unseal them&& it shows up as applicaion can not be opened beause it is i the Trash. to enlarge it, remove it from the trash. But i emptyed the trash&& now they're gone! IM ONLY 13!! PCI Memory Controller?
I enjoy an E Machines T6524, had a Radeon X1600 Pro installed. Was have no problems, computer ran great. Went to verbs the computer a few weeks ago using an air canister to obtain the dust out. Something happened and the computer say the PCI slot has be modified. Is there somewhere I can download PCI Memory Controller drivers, assuming that have something to do with the PCI Express Slot that be occupied by my Graphics card until this morning? Computer be restarting by itself over and over and over until I removed the video card. Of course I can't just download the drivers from window (They don't seem to enjoy them according to the hardware wizard) and E-machines charges $45 for thirty minutes on the phone. Would like to see if this is fixable up to that time I cancel my break because I have to spend adjectives my money on a new computer.

(If you've no idea what I'm conversation about, get hold of somebody who wears eyeglasses.)

Of course, this is all on an elder model. The new ones may incredibly well enjoy better heat guidance, and Core Duos are obviously more powerful than Celerons.

my work computer suddenly started have problems 2 weeks ago and I ended up have to do a system restore after it refused to start. Now it's running slower than until that time and today it refused to shut down when I needed to reboot after re-loading a program I use for work. any feedback on what possible problems are or easy/free ways to correct problems

hi, im going away to college contained by a week, and i just get my new laptop for institution. its a hp pavilion dv6000. i play a few games for the pc, but my laptop have an integrated video card so it dosnt run games well at adjectives. the reason i cant bring my workstation to school is because it will steal up to much room in my small dorm. Mac is difinitely for the tech savy, programmers, or clear artists. Regular people who of late need a computer should draw from a pc.
I'm aware that within many respects that the Mac is better.
I; however, hold a PC and will probably continue to purchase them because considerably more software and other little gadget are available for PCs.

P4msd motherboard doesn't reboot. bios clearing needed earlier every single reboot?
my brand unknown p4msd-800 motherboard is acting up. even when i disconnect the hdd, floppy and cd-rom drives it won't come up after a reboot. not even the beep! i can hit del to step into the bios utility, look around and reboot just fine from at hand, but as soon as i hit save settings (even minus making any changes) it won't restart. i need to clear the bios near the jumper to draw from it to boot again. i've taken the battery out, cleared the settings and still get the same problem.

And if i did overclock it, how much would u reccomend me to overclock it too, to be on the safe side.

I bought a different memory module, an 512 mb Kingston. I already have two ones. the second one is a no mark 512, the third is the same as the first (512mb kingston). My motherboard is MSI- KT4V, three memory slots available. My processor is amd 1800, but i down clocked it give or take a few one year, before it be a 2400, working on 2000 MHz. In the first slot is an 512 kingston, the same one within the second, and the no name 512 surrounded by the third. Did I do it right and how can I overclock amd again to work on 200 MHz?

I basically built a custom computer 3 days ago and when i turned it on the CPU was going at 23 degree (after 10minutes) so for the first time i decided i would try and do a indisputable overclock so after a few trys and a slight voltage increase i go it up to 2.64GHz, i did this oral exam on it to make sure it be stable and it was, and the temp be still under 40,
i am newly wondering what the best overclock you have ever get on an intel CPU.

I bought an optical mouse and it works fine. However when I switch rotten my computer the mouse stays on i.e. red light showing. My unsullied Duracell batteries go flat in a week. What is the problem?

Does it have an on/off switch on the bottom? If so, turn it sour!
Buy rechargables, or remove the batteries when you are not using it!

After formating my firm drive and installing fresh windows to my computer the on the bus video dont work guite rite. i think I updated the driver online but it still dont work rite.

nVidia have excellent stable drivers for all systems. But if you are not *nix user, I estimate just flip a coin.
I would step with nVidia. Because until very soon they have the best elevated end video cards on the souk. So Nvidia all the road 8800 GTX.

have anyone ever used this utility before,i own 2 hours to go and allready its increased my f.s.b from 133mhz to 141mhz and the agp from 66mhz to 72 mhz

however i must make a clean breast i,m the biggest anti-overclocking p.c user,but what i like roughly n-tune is its stable enviroment,and its designed by the nvidia...need i say aloud more

First, check the device principal by going to the control panel and clicking on device manager. Select the universal serial bus controllers and expand. Look at the devices scheduled and right click to view their properties. It should read out whether there is some sort of conflict or if a device driver upgrade is requisite.

i actually have this problem. the only approach i could fix it was by installing it again and going away the usb connected. cause when i disconnect it i enjoy the same problem u enjoy

i of late moved the music from my ipod onto my computer, but when i try to move it to itunes it says in attendance isnt enough room on the C drive. i enjoy a storage drive (E), so i dont see why its telling me in attendance isnt enough room. i tried to do it so i be putting it on the E drive, but maybe i did it wrong? any give a hand would be greatly appreciated

I thought it be the Graphics Card so i swapped out for one I know works and still no video signal. The computer powers on and the CD drive open and closes but no video signal. All fans are blowing so I know I am getting power only no video signal. Yes the Moniter works perfect on the other computer so I guess it's the Motherboard? I a short time ago don't want to replace the motherboard and find out it's something else. I already unhooked the board and put everything back contained by. Thought maybe a loose screw be behind the motherboard. The computer be fine for years before this. I a short time ago don't want to buy another Mother Board. Is there some course to find out if it's the AGP slot that's broken? Or am I just going to enjoy to shell out for another MOBO.

If there is no POST afterwards the mainboard (motherboard) is the problem. Replace it. You might try using a VGA on your AGP. See what happens (I other have extra parts). If no result, sorry... replace.

Dells are not usually a bad computer. i abhor to ask this question.. but near should be a green plug that is close to the cord from the monitor... did it obtain plugged into the green outlet on the back of the computer? I hold a Dell computer, not sure about the exact model but my dad purely installed a new and better video card today. The problem is that whenever I play any team game, for e.g. World of Warcraft, the gameplay is very choppy and slow even though the graphics appear to be slightly better.

I enjoy been looking at a couple of dvd drives online and necessitate to know if either of them will work on my system. One say that it requires a 1.3 ghz pentium 4 cpu. The other one says that it requires a 800 mhz pentium 3. My systems have a 1.2 ghz celeron(Tualatin core) is it possible that either of these work man that my cpu is only slightly below what is required (100mhz in the first case). Does my system enjoy to meet the requirements for both cpu clock speed and type of cpu for it to work?

I used on a Win 2000 without any problem after downloaded the software on procession but I want to use this on a different computer with Win XP but it doesn’t work. I found that this mouse works near or without the software installed. After I install the addressee then the mouse pick up but the baby grand still doesn’t work. It's because your upright is set to US rather than UK.
Go to Windows Control panel > Regional & Language option > Languages tab > Details > Select English (United kingdom) - United kingdom from drop down box and contained by the installed services box ensure English (UK) is set as default service, if then affix using button to right hand side.
This should resolve the knob mapping issue.

I don't come up with you HAVE to buy these from HP, but then again, I'm not sure. I know Dell make their own custom power supplies, but I'm not sure about HP.

I'm have difficulties with my MyBook Pro 500GB...
PC1 [retail]
PC2 [built] get this installed http://www.newegg.com/product/product.as...
it worked fine on PC1, but on PC2 doesn't want to read and install proper drivers/button manager using Firewire A or B, but it's fine when using USB on mobo, but i really want to try out how swift this FireWire B is! i've used my install disc, no luck. used downloads from WD website, no luck. any advice?
did i stipulation to hook up the 4-pin? the manual didn't utter anything about hooking it up, so i didn't... http://www.newegg.com/product/showimage.
