My nouns wont work?

after a activity crashing on my computer windows told me to downlaod the investigational nvida driver. It also said to remove the old one first.. So i did and i download the unsullied driver and everything is working but the sound? i cant play anything next to sound and no nouns will come out of my speakers whats wrong?

Reinstall the driver for your sound card or audio chip.

Possibly the bright Nvidia driver trashed it.
