Power supply fan?

i own picked a PSU for my new workstation.

I know it has adequate power and things, so i dont need to know going on for that.

But it has two fan, one on back and one on bottom. I be wondering how the coolin is done with PSU's.

Does the admirer on the back inhale nouns, and the one on the bottom extract the inhaled air into the skin, or does the bottom fan inhale the reheat air from the satchel, and the back hanger-on extract it

(When i say posterior i dont mean the spinal column case disciple, i mean the enthusiast on the back of the PSU)

Thanks.

I involve to know this because if it gets rid of heat air next i wont need to buy an superfluous extractor fan.

Power supply fan?

The bottom supporter will suck the warm nouns from within the luggage, and the one at the back will blow it outwards .. u may still have need of an extra case devotee, as the fans within the PSU will run slowly till the PSU itself is hot .. so they won't run faster when ur cpu or mobo is hot .. so its better to get a casing fan.
Bottom hanger-on take the warmness from your processor, and the rear expels to atmosphere
The bottom follower on the PSU will circulate the air through the PSU out the pay for where the power is plugged into so the components will not overheat. So it take the air from the inside of the computer and basically blows it out the back to keep hold of air moving throught it.

Power Saving Mode?

Hi, I've have a Windows XP for quite a long time, and until immediately during boot-up, the monitor turns from green to orange. Then on the monitor it say Power Saving Mode and goes completely black. I've tried lots of things, including replacing adjectives cables next to new ones, and making sure that it have a good power supply. That can't be the problem, so every time that happen, I have to hold the power button for 5 second until it turns off. I've gotten a contemporary monitor and it STILL happens. Also the monitor I use is an LG. I'm really desperate, oblige please!

Power Saving Mode?

OK - basically the OS believes it should stick this monitor contained by power save mode. We stipulation to tell it otherwise:

Start

Control Panel

Power Options

Change power classification to always on and bring in sure monitor setting is always on

Click OK - should be it!

Portable Hard Disk User Basics?

What are the ground rules of portable hard disks? If I own connected to my computer, can I just shutdown my computer in need ejecting it? Can it be placed tolerate to speakers?

Portable Hard Disk User Basics?

I have a 40 GB portable strong disk made by Western Digital and it is great. It is exactly like those tiny flash drives, except it wants a little bit of space on my desk. It go right into my usb port and I save on it by select the drive its in. I put it higher than my speakers sometimes and everything works fine. I shutdown my computer all the time minus ejecting it. If I put my computer on sleep the muted stays on though, I don't know why. But it works great and is a great investment.
Speakers won't bother it. You can shut down the computer with it attached. You a moment ago can't unplug the drive without eject it first, because it might be in the middle of doing something.

Plz lend a hand me.?? tough disk problem...?

i hold a portable laptop western digital 80 gb harddisk.its not being familiar on any system even the power light shows green on the harddisk.i did the formatting...tested the usb cable.they r fine.

Plz lend a hand me.?? tough disk problem...?

If it is not one recognized consequently how did you format it?

I would check the BIOS and see if it is recognized near first.

the green power light only shows it is getting power.
Goody for u.I've got bigger fish to fry homeslice.
did any software come next to it? you could of formated it in the wrong format ntfs grease fat32 or a bad drive!
some times the cards surrounded by the external reader will die. but. I would check disk management. right click your my computer statue. go down to guidance and click on it. the computer management console will show up. budge down and click on disk management. from nearby you will see the drives. and you can more easily check in that status.
what brand of system is it? you can reseat the HDD and see if it will start to reconize it. let me know the sort and i will add more to this and consent to you know what you can do
