New comp. noise...?

i only just bought a new imac computer and it's making unusual buzzing noises. what could be the problem?

If you just this minute bought it, and have a warranty repair program, I suggest you use it. If it's zilch, cool,(like harddrive noise that a different computer will engender, compared to the old one), but if it is an issue, better to attain it checked out now, 'cause it largely takes computer tech's for a company some time to respond. Don't want to be in need your 'puter while you wait! Tell them you regard as your cpu fan is gettin' set to shoot craps, this should speed up the process. The main point is, YOU payed good money for something you should be rewarded with!
It could possible be a hanger-on. If you only hear the nouns when you have a cd-rom within the drive it could be the drive. Another source of the sound could be the tricky drive.
