and when i do want to reinstall, will it mess up my computor any? (like favorites, saved files, hobby files ect?)

It will usually say Recovery Disc on it. If not that, it will say aloud Windows XP/Vista Depends on what operating system you have.
Yes you will lose everything psyche you reinstall windows. adjectives download/saves/favorite/game all will be delete. so backup you data in the past you do it. There is couple of ways you could do that.
1) Get an external enclosure box and produce your current HD into external.
2) Get a new HD (hard drive) and install window onto the new HD instead of reinstall it onto the old-fashioned one.
3) Get a professional and do it. :P (Don't pay too much though)
