No VIDEO on BOOT UP. What could be THE PROBLEM?

consider checking pins on the monitor' s facts cable
Hi!

If there is no POST afterwards the mainboard (motherboard) is the problem. Replace it. You might try using a VGA on your AGP. See what happens (I other have extra parts). If no result, sorry... replace.

Good luck!
if its a accurate monitor, good hit, good hdd and upright powersupply.. possible its the motherboard..

do you hear the windows nouns even if you dont have something on the blind? try a good battery-operated.. you will see the slot for the battery inside the cpu its similar to a siver coin.. battery approaching that of a watch but bigger one. if still did not work.. you already enjoy a bad motherboard..

my sisters workstation also doesnt boot up and no sign of power on the cpu but the monitor is working, and everything else when i hooked it on my pc.. we only just purchased a new mobile just to check if it will fix the prob, luckily it did.. if still no moral, its really the motherboard..

you can ask someone near your place to diagnose it and check if it can still be repaired.. its honest if they can still do that.. worst is if you need to buy a fresh one which will cost you a little money..

polite luck :)
