Overclocking?

Whats a apposite program to over clock a graphics card?



Im thinkin of gettin, and over clocking a 256MB Palit AT-FX GeForce 8600GT PCI-E



And if i did overclock it, how much would u reccomend me to overclock it too, to be on the safe side.

And would i call for a better cooler or anything new to keep hold of the OC'd GPU in polite form and safe?

Overclocking tends to break components, and it violate warranty. It rarely get noticeable gain. The 8600 GT is already a powerful card, what more do you expect to get out of it?
obviously you need a better cooler if you want to overclock thoroughly much. riva tuner and clock gen is good for overclocking, and you obligation speedFan to monitor its temperature, to be paid sure it doesn't overheat.
