My one GB pendrive is extremly slow within transferring as economically as copying.Reason?Can i speed it up?

But when i connect it up to my friends sys it is extremely brisk.Is it depended on RAM.Can De fragmentation,Checking errors etc speed it up.

Well yes ram does business. And you should defragment it.
Are you using USB 1.1 or USB 2.0 USB 2.0 makes adjectives the difference. And if you are using 2.0 What brand of pendrive are you using a high trait one? How much did you pay for it?
My guess is that your pin drive is running on a USB 2.0, but you do not hold a USB 2.0 connector on your computer. Nothing you can do about it but upgrade your computer. If it is a desktop you may be capable of get a USB 2.0 for a card slot bad the Mother board. Perhaps, though I have never see one, there is a pcmci adaptor for a USB 2.0.



USB 2.0 is merely a USB drive next to faster access times. Most newer computers have them. My computer have four standard USBs and one USB 2.0.
yes, but one gb is fast i construe you should increased the ghz to 3.0 for faster.
its just that you are using usb 1.1 and your friends are using usb 2.0 that make the speed difference
