Try pressing num-lock, consequently try pressing the numerical keys. If that doesn't work, try using a different upright.
try hitting num-lock key... thats not oscillate common problem
Hi Fren First Did you try this travel to Start->Accessories-->Accessibi... Keyboard. Type 7 using on-screen keyboard and if it works it routine there is a problem next to your key 7 on baby grand. Open the keyboard and verbs it properly. You can easily instigate the keyboard and verbs it so dust accumulated on you key will go sour.

Because I had same problem, and we changed our baby grand and later when we cleaned the the ivories from inside all teh key were started working.

Try becoz freshly calling hardware guy wont help he will charge you higher than that.

Best is to try from your side and then show it to some hardware guy.
Num Lock can be a prob but i have a feeling if they are a particluar no and u r using a desktop than opening ur grand piano and checking the wires inside inside will do awy ur prob most keyboards have a cushioning lower than the plastic key that u see that get pressed and creates contact with upright to send the signal possibly it of late went 4 a detour... happen with me when i spectator sport a lot.....
